What a fabulous hotel! Great property & staff. Fine dining is just lovely. We had a relaxing & fun staycation. The staff is at another level! :) Caring, affable, excellently mannered, alert to every need & I just can't stop praising.. Thank you very much - you rock! :) Speaks volumes for the management as well who are often overlooked in such sectors but are an integral part of the final front end service. Location is perfect - not too far from central Kolkata & far enough from the airport. Overlooking the beautiful Eco Park lake provides a great view & sense of nature. If I have to find one fault it's the room design (we stayed in deluxe king) - more is expected from Taj. It's still better than most hotels of a similar level but there's enough scope for improvement. Notwithstanding, this hotel is simply fabulous overall. I'll definitely recommend it - this Taj experience puts the 'Taj' on its guests (as always) ! :)

Attended a conference, didn't stay. Thus, commenting only on conference venue. Can't talk about rooms, other facilities/services. Conference site was average, not great. The restrooms for the conference attendees gave me the feeling of servents' toilets. The food was average. The location & surroundings are good.
