Besides Tokyo, Fukuoka is a fabulous city to visit in Japan. The food is excellent and there is great street food as well. The airport is about ten minutes away from the hotel. The hotel itself is located in Nakasu which is an entertainment district with plenty to do. There is great shopping with the River Rain Mall almost connected (with a Gold's Gym as well). You will also enjoy shopping for souvenirs at the Don Quixote a minute walk away. The hotel is a throwback to the bubble economy days and is fancy with nice restaurants inside. The breakfast was a big buffet with food for everyone in your family. Room service was also good.
Fantastic hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Spacious rooms, especially by Japan standard. The staff were fabulous. We could not be happier with our stay.
Had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff in particular are the best. The hotel is very luxurious but is starting to feel a little dated. If you like the vibe of the Bellagio then, this hotel should be good. Easily the best feature of this hotel is the access to the subway. You can get to it through the basement or walk half a block and take a quick escalator. This made it surprisingly easy to explore fukuoka. Would recommend this hotel
