The hotel is in Taksim square so it is near the metro station & bus stop (from the airport) and this makes it very convenient. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of Bosphorus. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly & helpful. There is an exchange office near the hotel. I will go back to this hotel again, if I ever want to travel to Istanbul.

Date:19/4/25 time 8.40pm I am staying at Intercontinental, IST. But on my way back to the hotel after a long day of IST day tour - I needed to use the restroom urgently. I went to Taksim sq hotel and at the reception met- IHAAB He was absolutely unwelcoming and unkind. I asked if I could use the restroom- to which he replied that only the rooms have restrooms. I wonder how he helps himself when in need. Because of his rude tone- I asked if the manager is around to which he said- he himself is the manager! SO much for the first impression of the manager as the first face of the hotel at the reception. I’m sure there must be a set protocol but it’s how you treat people - which is the whole idea of the service industry. Hoping he understands and treats others kindly. And mind you - the hotel next door Marmara were so welcoming
