Talkoo Eco Resort

A nice place to relax and good sea view. Stay. Resort seems old and lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. Better to have own transportation to travel around to more sight seeing places and food. Stayed 3 days 2 nights there. Morning breakfast in the resort is okok..but seems like everyday eating the same thing. But overall. It's a quiet place to relax and stay away from busy cities.

We will definitely visit again. There is car parking next to most rooms, which was convenient. The rooms are a bit rundown (see photo), but the location is great. We paid for an upgrade to be closer to the beach. While the resort was FAR from busy, our upgraded room was directly next to the kitchen. It got very loud around sunrise with the staff talking to each other and the coolers at our back window. The beach was dirtier than expected, even for May, with washed-up rubbage. The dogs that live at the resort are very sweet and very well cared for. We paid a 300 thb key deposit but only received one key. We got the deposit back at check-out. The bathroom could definitely use a towel hanger, among other things. The shower wand was stuck at waist level, and the water pressure was very low. It was difficult to shower comfortably, even for a Thai bathroom. There are only two outlets in the unit, and both are only two-prong. We got a surge protector at 7-11, so we could use a computer and charge a single phone at the same time. This is definitely a 3-star place that needs upgrades, but the location is worth it. There are plenty of nice bars and restaurants on the beach, just steps away.

No pool at present .We booked this place because it advertised having a pool .It is being renovated. There was no mention of this .The rooms are tired and the television is from the last century .SAdly for me there is no kettle in the room .However the restaurant sells coffee .The restaurant also sells very good Douthern Thai food .
