Tall Storeys

Just spent 3 wonderful nights at Tall Storeys. Ian and Morna were so welcoming and kind and rapidly made us feel like friends.Our room and shower room were spotlessly clean,as was the whole place. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and cooked to order.We had a lovely sea view and Morna asked us each day,if we were warm enough,plus she left a heater out for us,in case we needed it.Tall Storeys is perfect situated for access to the sea front(just down the hill)and there was a list of places that were nice to go for food.Our hosts also told us about things that were on,in Scarborough. We cannot recommend it highly enough.Anyone who is lucky enough to stay there,can be assured of a warm welcome and lovely place to stay.

We stayed at Tall Storeys at the weekend. Our room was absolutely lovely as was the rest of the hotel. Ian and Morna were brilliant hosts and nothing was too much trouble. I even accidentally left something at the hotel and it was very kindly posted back to me. Cannot find a bad word to say about Tall Storeys and I would highly recommend it.

A lovely room Clean and tidy everywhere All amenities as described A fabulous full English breakfast and more. This was such an easy transaction and in my opinion excellent value for money. It delivered exactly what was written on the tin. Ian and Morna are great hosts and in exchange we wish them all the very best and if visiting Scarborough again this B & B will be top of our list. As normal I always try to advise those who might find access awkward how they might manage. Sadly I don't believe this property would work well for wheelchair users or people who might not be too steady on their feet these days as there are steps into the property and the steps to the upstairs rooms are narrow winding and steep. For those of us lucky people, touch wood, who have relatively good mobility in their prime years shall we say then it's a great place situated in the heart of the old town. Great for couples over singles or groups I would suggest in a quiet location. Seagulls? Yep they live there too in Scarborough. On street restricted parking here but the accomadation provide a free parking ticket in with the price though you might need to park some way along the road depending on the availability of space outside the property. Again consider it could be a walk from parking though I would think a space should be available along the street somewhere given the local authority parking restriction. Once your in, dump your stuff and it's a 10inute walk up hill to the castle or a 5 minute walk down hill to the harbour area. Buses galore on the front to North Bay area or a beautiful promenade walk. Enjoy
