Absolutely awful! Tamarind Cove and Barrons Hotel is a complete disaster – filthy bedding, shaky unsafe top floor roof, disgusting washrooms with no toilet paper, and a sneaky extra parking fee they never mentioned. The bar is basically in the middle of the rooms so you can’t escape the noise, yet not even a single complimentary drink was offered. The owner was rude and unhelpful, there’s zero security, and I felt unsafe the whole time. Worst stay ever – avoid at all costs!
We chose this hotel and family asked for disabled friendly room for me. The owner accommodated and if you look at the pictures you will see it was no where suitable for disabled. The room itself was disgusting, fire alarm hanging down, the sink and basin was not attached, the toilet absolutely disgusting, the shower floor had mould round the base, the waste bin lid was rusty, the door was not secure, the floor was dirty, the room cost £40.00 and for me it was not suitable for my needs. My sister in law had a room above and she came down crying telling me it was a complete dirt hole, she has picture's also and I will add later. My other part of the party told the owner we was moving out and going home, had I have gone to see owner I would have asked for refund, the owner has no right to have this so called hotel on booking.com If your looking for a simple doss hole this is the one for you, do not go on the pictures their website shows.
Would give 0 stars if possible, absolutely disgusting hotel, room looked nothing like the photo, very run down, holes in wall, felt dirty just sat in there. Booked for 2 nights, ended up leaving at 11pm on the first night after discovering bugs in the bed as my daughter was scratching at her neck.
