Tamu Hotel and Resort: A Pleasant Stay with One Minor Quibble My recent stay at Tamu Hotel and Resort was largely very positive. The hotel boasts a range of admirable qualities that contribute to a comfortable and enjoyable experience. From the inviting ambiance to the overall cleanliness, everything was certainly "good." The facilities were well-maintained, and the general atmosphere of the hotel was conducive to a relaxing stay. The staff were attentive and polite, contributing to a welcoming environment. However, there was one notable area for improvement: the water pressure. While not a deal-breaker, the water pressure in the room was "to be desired," suggesting it could be stronger for a more satisfying shower experience. Despite this minor issue, Tamu Hotel and Resort remains a solid choice for a stay in Kuala Lumpur. Its many positive attributes make it a commendable option for travelers seeking comfort and good service in the city.

It was a pleasant experience. Got a good deal over phone with breakfast. It's located in a Muslim majority area, you can find food spots near by easily. The pool is well designed but poorly maintained. No guard nobody on duty. Breakfast is good , not the best but still good. Lifts are slow It's an old construction but very neatly maintained. I wish the pool gets some maintenance and they make it a selling point. It's very artistically designed U shape , giving you a panoramic view of the city

We took the one bedroom residence and the room itself was spacious. However, the furnishings are not updated or being kept that well, but overall everything was considerably clean. Not a modern design and may need some improvements here and there. The balcony and view really excited the kids as they can see the Twin towers, TRX and KL tower all in one view. The TV only has basic Malaysia channels, no movies what sort ever; I think they are using something like MyFreeTV. The lobby I can say is just comfortable, not spacious or luxurious; just okay I would say. Indoor parking wasn't a problem though the driveway and ramp can be quite tight for bigger cars. We are used to this area and love the fact that they food area around the hotel area is abundant and with so many varieties. Grab service is easy to get and 7 Eleven and a good pharmacy is just downstairs. Will definitely come back here again for the convenience and value for money hotel room.
