The overall impression is not as bad as my 2-star: good location, staff is friendly. Still our experience was awful: we booked a room “”with city view” and received a room with no view, and no window. Technically, there was a window looking into the ventilation shaft (4*6 ft) with hotel’s conditioning system on the floor and a permanent noise. Approaching the staff, we received an answer known to many of us: no other room is available, that wasn’t a surprise. The surprise was that the staff looked at this situation as normal and didn’t even complain

Location is ok and that’s the only positive i can think of. They are advertising on their website the property has a fitness centre, this is complete non sense and untrue. They merely have a small smelly room with absolutely no equipment and an old broken running machine. Thankfully there is a very good gym 2 streets up the road. The breakfast is awful ! Consisting of some dried cut fruits, stale pastries and scrambled eggs & sausages (I decided against trying). Coffee is decent… The room was ok but very noisy as we were by the main Street. Finally, we had to constantly get new door keys as they kept being affected by phones, credit cards and literally anything in your pockets, included money. So do ask at least for 10 keys when you check-in. In order to avoid the unpleasant going back and forth to get new room keys (the elevators do take forever). Apart from that… Buenos Aires is a beautiful city. Just the wrong hotel for us.

The place was very noisy late at night. My wife couldn’t sleep well. People screaming and the Car traffic was horrible Restaurant was good. Centrally located near train sta and Plaza de Mayo and The Cathedral. Palacios Barolo was next door. I’d not stay there again when I go back to BA.
