The hotel is 33 years old in 2025. The fact that it is still operational says A LOT. This is apparent when you see how the buildings and facilities conditions. They are not the latest and most high tech but they still retain the looks/ designs and most importantly, functions! Extra points for having EV charging points. Very convenient for EV owners. Premise are huge, calm and clean. Location is strategic. Staffs are friendly and helpful. All in all translates to a VERY PLEASANT STAT experience. KUDOS TPGR! Definitely will come again.
We spent a night at TPGR on their Stay&Golf package. The hotel room we stayed at had an amazing view, overlooking the golf course. However, the shower and bathroom were not in the best condition, and there were lots of ants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was simple, nothing special to call out. As for our golf experience, we played on both Straits and Plantation courses. If you need to choose one, I highly recommend The Plantation over Straits. Overall, we had an amazing weekend here and would come back!
Drove there from Singapore for a round of golf. Grounds are fairly well maintained, with mostly wide fairways. Staff are friendly, and green fees are reasonable. Beer is at Singapore prices tho. It’s always relatively out of the way, a bit of a drive from woodlands causeway
