We finally got round to booking a table for food yesterday evening and wow, we've been missing out! The service was great, in house ale was great and the food was delicious, so much so that ive still been thinking about it all day today. Luckily for us this is only 15 minutes away so we'll definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu!
Excellent pub in a great location! If tables out front are taken, look to the side terrace for additional seating in the shade. Good cream tea and savory lunch options. However, the coffee is terrible. Very prompt service even on a busy day.
After completing the Circular walk around the Tarr River, we stopped here for Sunday dinner. Was lovely roast beef. Lovely place, beautiful outside seating areas in a gorgeous location.
