Stunning riverside resort with a breathtaking view of the airport set against a majestic mountain backdrop. The Deluxe rooms are a true gem, offering the soothing, tranquil sound of flowing river water that creates a deeply relaxing atmosphere.
This resort is situated very near Paro airport, about 10 minutes away. Convenient for that but not near the town shopping areas. Service is good and friendly. Rooms are fairly spacious, but some bathrooms need proper ventilation to remove leftover odour. Note that there is no air-conditioning, instead there is a fan and heater. You can open the window for fresh air. Most of the rooms require stairs climbing. Not very wheelchair friendly. Surrounding gardens and horticulture is well planned with beautiful cherry blossoms and apple trees. This makes the daily walk for meals to the main building very pleasant, though somewhat far.
Rooms are hygienic & clean but restaurant is not hygienic, full of flies. So irritating! Waiting time after ordering food is too long. Service quality was average. Staff are not cooperative, always looking for excuses not to fulfil simple demands of guests. Resort is located beside Paro river.
