Taushof

This is our third trip to Taushof from the UK. We have travelled there via Innsbruck, Verona and Milan and in each case the journey has been very much worthy of the destination. Taushof is quality and beauty personified. The location is breathtaking, partway up the mountain in Schena, overlooking the valley and surrounding mountains. We never go all inclusive in other hotels, but at Taushof the food is the highlight. Fresh ingredients, expertly prepared and creatively combined make every meal an occasion. Attentive, polite and professional service is consistently available from Taushof's wonderful team of friendly and conscientious staff members. We felt so welcome! The pools, tennis courts and gardens are immaculately kept as is the entire hotel. Everything is designed for optimum performance and comfort: beds, showers, chairs and loungers. There is so much to do here, both inside and outside the hotel, and at the same time, doing nothing here is a pleasure. Thank you to all at Taushof for another wonderful vacation experience. We look forward to our next trip and hope to view you from above next time as we are sorely tempted by the paragliding!

My third visit to Taushof. And, God willing, more to come! The whole place is spotless. The views are over the valley to the mountains are spectacular. The staff team (including the owner and his family who have a warm and reassuring presence) couldn't be more helpful. The food is quality - tasty, nutrious and plentiful. For tennis lovers, there are four well maintained courts, including a helpful, motivated in-house tennis coach to boot. Whether you’re a walker, hiker, swimmer, gardener, lido lover, para-glider, tennis player, cyclist, or anything in between, you will be wholeheartedly satisfied with your visit to this region. Do check out the thermal baths in the near-by spa town of Merano, which offers an oasis of well-being - outdoor pools and garden - within the Alpine landscape.
