Tav Airport Hotel Izmir

We stayed here after a long and problematic night flight, reached around 2 am, all tired kids and very frustrated adults. From the first moment, the hotel's employees were very welcoming and understanding towards us. The bellboy was especially kind and helpful with my kids, I feel terrible not to remember his name. The night was suprisingly silent against the busy traffic and noises in the area, the room isolation was incredible. The room features were very family friendly. The next day, we tried the hotel breakfast, which I was doubtful,but it was very delicious with all local items. Overall, I'm so grateful to stay here, thank you!

Tav airport hotel in Izmir airport is one of the best we have stayed so far. It is very convenient and right inside the terminal with lots of food options. You can just walk up to the terminals. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast was excellent. The staff at the reception and at the breakfast area are very friendly and very accommodating. The manager at the breakfast area turned on the capachino maker even after the breakfast time was over, just because I asked if I could get a cup of coffee.

As mentioned on previous reviews I would say to only consider this hotel as an option if you have a very late or very early flight. I stayed two nights on business, flying in late the first night so ideal and leaving early after the second night. Location for this type of trip is perfect, staff on the reception were friendly and helpful and breakfast was really good but could do with an earlier option given the type of hotel it is, even a limited breakfast would be good. The negative point for me was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms leading to two very poor nights sleep. You can hear everything from outside the room and adjacent rooms. I had an adjoining door between my room and one of my neighbours. This made matters even worse, they might as well have been staying in my room as I heard everything! I'll probably try one of the hotels outside the terminal when I return. Also worth a mention is you have to go through a security scan/check every time you leave enter the terminal along with all the other passengers.
