Taveuni Island Resort and Spa

We had the most wonderful time at Taveuni Island Resort, we left feeling like family. From the moment we were greeted with Storms warm smile and Bula. The food was amazing. So good it was hard to turn down the 3 course lunch and dinner. We left, well fed, well rested and in love with Taveuni, the resort and its people. Also for anyone concerned with the dogs, they are the sweetest and gentle bunch. A rub behind the ear or on the belly and they are as soft as butter in the Fiji heat

My partner and I stayed at the Resort for 1 week and were so impressed. The views are beautiful, the gardens are lush, the food is tasty, and the atmosphere is so peaceful. What makes this 5 stars are the staff. From the moment we booked, Storm took amazing care of us, anticipating our needs in advance. She is absolutely amazing, and could teach courses in Hospitality. Raymond and the team provided incredible service at the restaurant, personalising our experience and ensuring we were as relaxed as possible. We look forward to returning!! Vinaka xo

Most exceptional place. Wonderful luxurious and spacious villas including airconditioning with garden or ocean views. Great pool and private beach. Staff is exceptional, welcoming and friendly. Will feel like family after a couple of days. They go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic. Meals at the restaurant included and of high quality, recommended as the island is remote and small and there are not a lot of other dining options. Location is great, close to the airport and right on the beach. Snorkeling equipment available at front office, just walk/swim from their private beach into the reefs. Wifi and mobile coverage can be spotty in villas but usually acceptable at common areas. Staff can assist in booking any kind of tour (hike/drive/walk/snorkel/dive) you would like, or set up car rental. Any tips will go into schooling fund for the local staff's (grand)children. Very highly recommended place to stay.
