Tea Tree Boutique Resort

We stayed here in December 2024 for 10 days. This place was wonderful and I would absolutely stay here again. The room was spacious, clean, and opened off directly onto a patio and the pool. We had turn down service available every day, including re-stocking our free bottled water. There is also a smart TV (which we admittedly didn't use) but is great if you want television in a language other than Thai. Something we hadn't planned on but that changed our trip was that the hotel rents scooters. There will be a required cash deposit, but it changed the game. The hotel is located about 15 mins walk from Rawai Beach, which can feel like a lot when it's really hot, and the walk does not have sidewalks, so you are basically in traffic. On a scooter, it was 3 mins tops. You will need an IDL to rent one. While they don't have a kitchen on site, they do have a kitchen that serves several locations (owned by the same company) just down the road. You can eat there, or you can order room service that will be delivered to you at the time of your choosing if you let them know the night before. We had laundry done several times while we were there (we packed really light). You are charged by the kilo, and it's pricier than it would be for a corner shop to do it, but the convenience was totally worth it. The pool is unheated, which is actually really refreshing in Phuket. It's clean and not aggressively chlorinated. I used it every single day. There's also an outdoor shower poolside to rinse off before or after use. This place was quiet and peaceful, set back a bit from the main road. While it is a resort, you won't find the chaos of the larger tourist areas here. There are tons of more local restaurants and some great hidden gems close by, as well. Staff were warm and helpful. A great experience overall. The couple things I'd mention as a heads up: 1. the bathroom does not have windows, but two cut outs high up the wall (no one can see in and they are screened) so while it gets fresh air at all times, it can be very humid. We just kept the door closed and it was absolutely fine. 2. If you arrive after 7pm there will not be front desk staff on site. There is a number to call in that case and someone will come, presumable from one of the other locations, so you'll need WhatsApp or some such.

My family and I recently stayed at Tea Tree Boutique Resort, and it was amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home.The rooms were huge and super clean, which was great for us, especially with kids in tow. We really appreciated the attention to detail in keeping everything spotless.The swimming pool was massive! We spent so much time there, enjoying the cool water and relaxing by the poolside. It was the perfect way to escape the heat. But what really made our stay unforgettable was the fantastic service. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was arranging transportation or giving us tips on what to see and do in the area, they were always friendly and helpful. It's definitely a place we'd love to visit again. If you're looking for a fantastic getaway, this is it!

We were a family group and booked x3 rooms in August 2024. Room were a good size, clean and comfortable. Great big smart TV. Pool was lovely and clean. front desk staff very welcoming and friendly and helpful. Hotel is in quiet lane and it's a 15 minute walk to proper restaurants and shops bur GRAB easily available. Suggestion to owner: since no staff available after 8pm and no nearby shops then keep some extra drinking water available for your guests as opposed to getting annoyed when they take it out of the (not locked) fridge.
