Tecnohotel Beach

Rooms were clean, but can be annoying when you need an iron or blow dryer. You have to give them your ID at the front desk to borrow them. Same with pool and beach towels. Beds are passable, but could be improved with better sheets/blankets. The vibe is great though, pools and beach club and ocean all at your fingertips. The servers are hit or miss. Either very helpful, or a complete roll of the dice if you’ll get your order. And there is no consistency on when you’re supposed to pay for your drinks/food. Some day to open a tab, some day to pay now. We went with a large group and it got confusing very fast. We weren’t sure what was paid, when/if it was paid. They should create some consistency with that. Would recommend staying here!

Things we liked: Nice location, not crowded, laid back, rooms open into the pool area so great for watching kids but not loud, spacious rooms, great staff, AC works well, restaurant onsite, two pools which are a good depth for kids, beach area is well furnished and lovely, nice price point, we had a fridge, sink and microwave. Restaurant had good food. Price point was average. Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend. Things to improve: no blow dryers , irons or coffeemakers in room. Sink is barely a trickle, cold water in shower was very limited, one bed was especially hard, lack of basic kitchen wear. No mugs, no dish soap, no glasses, no dishes/utensils. Normally with a sink, microwave and fridge I would expect those things. At minimum mugs and glasses would be standard.

This place is trash! We purchased a day pass and it was a huge waste of time and money. They sell this place as an all inclusive resort and it’s hardly all inclusive. The food was disappointing there were not any real options and the drinks were cheap and watery. They over sell tickets and don’t have enough sitting for guest, we spent 40 minutes waiting for sitting. The beach is not taken care of and it’s trashy. It’s not worth the money !
