Tempus Hotel Taichung

I loved it! Location is decent, near City Hall station. The interior is amazing for the price. My room was extremely comfortable and looks good. Even had a bathtub! Some shortcomings: No pool or other amenities one might find in other hotels, and restaurant (breakfast at least) is quite limited in selection. However, this doesn't matter to me. Not like I would use them while I'm here. Breakfast was good despite the limited choices. A mix of Taiwanese style dishes and continental food.

Small things about the design of the room, using older key locks, lack of easily accessible power outlets make the say feel less than the number of stars on the hotel app. Overall, the stay was OK, and the convenience of the location to some personal business we needed to do made the stay worthwhile.

The worst 5-star hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 1. The bedsheets were dirty, with a large reddish stain and several musty gray patches. The bathroom walls were also covered in mold. 2. The hotel's description on the booking platform was misleading. ---It indicated that access to the children's playground was included, but it failed to clearly state that additional charges would apply. ----Parking was extremely limited, so we had to park in a nearby private lot, as instructed by the hotel, which also incurred an extra fee that was not covered. ----Worst of all, we were only informed of these additional charges after making our reservation.
