Tennomaru

I had a wonderful stay here. It seems I arrived following a busy holiday, when the hotel was mostly empty. The staff kindly upgraded my room, and it was gorgeous. The view of Gamagori city and the ocean were so beautiful. I would still recommend this hotel even without their kind upgrade, because the staff was so friendly and the facilities were great. I was nervous at first when I learned the baths would change between men and women at different times, because I wasn't so confident in my Japanese language abilities. But the baths were marked in English when I arrived, so I didn't have any concerns! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, and look forward to another stay next time! Just a note to foreigners who might not know, there is a free shuttle service by the hotel, check the times!

Really good value and an excellent stay Recently renovated and I got an upgrade. Everything was just excellent and I will come back for sure. Three things to make it 6 stars 1. Improve dinner 2. Reservation system for the 4th floor bath 3. Get the sauna back and working 💪

Poor service, tourist unfriendly, most of staff cannot speak English Meal is not good enough, poor quality and salty Room is nice with open air bath, but water is not hot enough, non-adjustable. Environment is very nice with good night scenery
