Tenuta Ca' Zen

Beautiful old Manor original from the 1600’s. Passed down in the same family for generations! The current owners MariaAdelaide and her 85 year old mother are fantastic and totally hands on with guests. My daughter and I had a beautiful guest villa, that was private and quiet. Shout out the Silva who catered to our every need, and answered a million questions. She set us up for horseback riding and e-biking and cooking classes. Our days were filled with excitement and fun. Our favorite was the barn and the rescued race horses. We spent a lot of time there with Luca and the owner MariaAdelaide. She gave us riding lessons, and Luca took us riding twice a day! We are Americans and if you are looking for an authentic, off the beaten path Italian experience, this is the place for you!!

This place is truly one of the most gorgeous places I have ever been to. When we arrived we walked along the beautiful old buildings and into a reception and was to our big surprise greeted be a very nice and sweet Irish lady who apparently had live in the house for about 50 years. She had a great many stories to tell and was a wonderful presence in the villa. After checking in we went to our room that was big and spacious with windows all around. It was very breathtaking. When walking around the villas grounds we explored the lovely little chapel that looked a little rough on the outside bit it was gorgeous on the inside. During breakfast we met more of the staff and they where all super friendly, even though our Italian wasn't very good communication was a no paint any problem. It's a wonderful place filled with wonderful people and animals. A very relaxing 2 day trip.

Beautifully restored old villa is partly like a museum. It is a privilege to stay there and feel the atmosphere. The rooms are warm, with rustic interior and great views to the green property. Breakfast was tasteful and plenty. And the owners are super friendly. It was like visiting old friends....
