Tenuta Corano Nardò

I stayed at this wonderful place with my family, and from the very first moment everything was fantastic. The kindness of the staff and the owner make you feel at home, and whatever you ask, they're ready to welcome you and provide all the information you need. The place is truly fabulous, with excellent connections to every destination, and it's also very relaxing. I hope to return soon.

We stayed at Tenuta Cirano for 12 days in July... starting from the apartment, with its excellent outdoor space, enjoyable both day and night, to the beautiful pool (our daughter Matilde would have been constantly soaking in it), with hot and cold showers and a relaxation area, and finally to the estate's large outdoor space (much appreciated by our dog Baloo) and the fantastic vegetable garden... a haven of peace and comfort just a few kilometers from the most beautiful beaches in Salento. Francesca welcomed us with kindness and professionalism and was always available during our stay. Antonio and his brother Francesco were immediately attentive and helpful... P.S. The watermelons were delicious! Best regards and, hopefully, goodbye from all of us.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. While Francesca and the garden were lovely, the overall experience was extremely disappointing, especially considering we paid nearly €200 per night — a price that suggests premium service. What we actually received fell far below even basic expectations. There was no cleaning for five full days, no spare garbage bags provided, and we were expected to manage our own trash in 40°C heat. The Wi-Fi was nearly unusable and the mobile reception barely functional. The pool was also not as clean as claimed. But what truly shocked us was the arrogant and defensive reply from the management to our initial feedback on booking.com. Instead of taking responsibility or expressing any form of empathy, they deflected blame and suggested we “should have requested” basic services like cleaning – which should be standard at this price point. This kind of disrespectful treatment of guests is unacceptable in any business, let alone hospitality. If you’re considering staying here, don’t be fooled by the setting or a few friendly staff. For nearly €200 a night, we paid for 5-star service and received none. I strongly advise against booking this accommodation.
