Tenuta Gentile Resort & Spa

We arrived at night and the guy at the reception did not speak English or Spanish it was really difficult to communicate. He pretended to keep our passports for the night since he did not know how to use the copy machine to which we had a discussion until he called someone and agreed to only take a picture as we suggested. It was a tough start. Rooms are not even close to the pictures they have at Booking but they were still nice. The breakfast was good and the day staff was great. Booking also said 24/7 room service which they do not have.

Unfortunatelly, too much money for pool for the servise they offer. We had a nice day at the pool, but I would never come back. I don't know how is the hotel,rooms etc but pool is not a big thing.

Very disappointing stay. Even though we only stayed for one night due to the hotel’s convenient location, I would not return. Our AC wasn’t working at all, and after addressing the issue several times, the receptionist told us it would “take time to cool the room down”. Which clearly wasn’t the case. It felt like the receptionist already knew the AC wasn’t functioning. Additionally, the bathroom had a bad odor and smelled like mold. When we raised our concerns again at checkout, the receptionist showed no interest and switched from English to Italian, pretending not to understand. I expected more from a hotel that claims to be 4 stars.
