Tenuta Montemagno Relais & Wines

An exceptional hotel experience with the most beautiful backdrop and distant mountain views. We were lucky enough to stay here on an off peak rate but the standard rate is acceptable in my opinion if you appreciate the sheer natural beauty this hotel sits on and for that I will be returning on a personal trip. Vineyards, Olive trees, undisturbed panoramic views, this is the place if you want to truly get away. I perhaps wouldn't stay here for any more than a couple of nights even though there is a lot to do but be warned, you will be out of luck if you don't prebook activities in advance as it all very popular, for good reason. The restaurant is no less than exquisite, we had the Set 6 with wine pairing My only slight concern was my room was showing age but I'm just picking here as the entire establishment itself is kept in excellent, period condition.

I photographed a wedding at this amazing venue — it's a winery, they make their own wine, having facilities with rooms and they have a great restaurant! It's such a nice space with sunset light. We have spend several days wedding there with different activities. For main wedding day we set up a stage for the DJ and decorated a sections of the venue to make it extra special for the wedding. Actually we even planted some grapes 🍇 on the wine yards 🙂🤭 We also had a saxophonist playing during the Aperol hour, which was a nice touch. As a wedding photographer, I'm always on the lookout for great locations, and this one definitely didn't disappoint. Meanwhile there were some other guests at the venue that haven’t belonged to our crew. I think we all had great time there. Restaurant allows to have different groups, they own guest and still operate for all the wedding dishes. Highly recommend checking it out if you're planning a wedding or any other kind of event.
