Tenuta Ponziani Wine Resort&Spa

What a hidden gem my son found for us to stay at while on vacation in Italy. The Resort is a converted hunting lodge that has been renovated to a hotel, winery, and an Agritourismo Star! It is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has a coffee bar. The food is outstanding (in house baked bread is some of the best in the world). The views are incredible and the rooms an all brand new. As breathtaking as the property is what took center stage was the SERVICE. Staying with our arrival, we were the “top priority.” We checked in after 3:00. Lunch had just closed, and with dinner over 4 hours away, and mowing we were traveling with kids, the staff tracked down snacks and beverages to hold us over. Deborah, the Manager Extraordinaire, has assembled an amazing team that perfectly showcases this Oasis! From the pool, to the service and everything in between, this is a must see tucked way in the hills of Orvieto! 10/5 Stars!

Our stay was simply amazing. We managed to find the relaxing and peaceful atmoshphere we were searching for. The people working there are extremely polite and available, always willing to help! Great combination of food, wine and exquisite location. We had such a wonderful time that we decided to extend our stay :) Super recommended. We'll definitely be back some day!

This place has my heart! I wish I could give it 10/5 stars. Do yourself a favor and book here!! I only wish I had spent more time here. The staff is amazing, goes above and beyond. Greeted with smiles and wants you comfortable and happy. The food is to die for. There was not one bad meal I had there. Room was very comfortable. The views just made you relax and never want to leave. Everything is just PERFECT! I hope to be back again one day!!
