Guest Reviews 4.4 / 5
The place is beautifully laid out with an immense amount of plants around each corner making the hot springs feel secluded and private. There are 3 main sections. The ones next to the bar are more vibrant. Waiters can serve food and drinks pretty much anywhere on property. Rooms are roomy. Oddly there was no trash can in the room. Only in the bathroom. Stayed in the newer building and it has areas in construction. Hot water didn’t work. Beds fitted with comforters that are just right for the night chill. Staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend and will probably return.
Curtains with mold, urine stench in the shower. Breakfast quality was bland at best.
If only zero stars was an option I want to start by saying this is only the second complaint review I have ever written, and always give places the benefit of the doubt or try and see the positives, but this was a huge struggle, so hope you either read this review, or just read this first part and avoid the misfortune of booking here. The room doesn’t offer robes, water or even a hair dryer, it’s a very basic room for the price and quality you would expect. Re the robes, other guests walk around them to go between pools etc in comfort. When asked they said they had run out, and we struggled to get another set of towels in order to be appropriately covered while going between the pools. The noise is terrible, they had an event the following day so decided to do a sound test from 11pm to past midnight, when we complained and asked to change rooms we were told that the sound test was only another half an hour. I would think most people would come expecting a relaxing stay not having loud blaring music which causes the windows to vibrate, and that’s not including noise from the parking lot, to the reception, to the next door room. The restaurant was clearly under staffed, given its ferias in Manizales and the hotel is fully booked, this seems a undersight on the hotels part. Drinks arrived after the food, the pasta arrived cold and 15mins later the chicken sandwich arrived which should have been a la gratin, but was just soggy and came with under cooked french fries. When you check in they say there is room service available, so whilst your not allowed to sleep from the noise of the music being tested you also can’t get a hot drink delivered to the room because the kitchen has closed, and there are no hot drinking facilities in the room. We were given a ‘luxury room that we were moved to at 12.45am, the room itself isn’t any superior to the last room we were in, in terms of amenities, the only difference being that the layout is slightly different and the thankfully the room in a quieter location. To top everything off, as with any spa hotel the understanding is that guests are going to get wet, and that as a woman or anyone with fairly long hair you will therefore get it wet, well there are no hairdryers available so don’t be fooled by the pictures of rooms with hairdryers expect a nice cold night with wet hair, and hope to not wake up unwell the next day. Furthermore the gym is in a horrendous state, and it’s completely unsafe for use, it should not be advertised as having a gym in anyway. P.s if you do for whatever reason have to stay then bring your own shampoo/body wash etc as this is not provided either. has context menu
