Termas Puyehue Wellness & Spa Resort

Wonderful lodge-type setting, warm/cozy, many outdoor activities, three sauna pools, one is indoors. It's a very nice place to just relax or if you want to be close to nature. There are trails you can hike and other activities. Highly recommend.

The location and facilities are adequate, and we had great time, but the food is not good enough for 5 star hotel. For several days during our stay, the bread was stale; cheese palate was available only during one day and was rather poor. French fries was available all the time, but for ketchup you have to ask the waiter and the wait times are awful. The same is also true for soft drinks. They could really learn how to do this stuff properly at ikea or copec. Overall, their buffet unfavorably compares to analogous buffets I experienced in other location of this type. Also, there was no temperature regulator in the room and the room on default temperature regime was too hot for our tastes

For the price the rooms are extremely outdated. We stayed one night as we had missed our time frame to crossover into Argentina and it was the only decent thing in the area. Good service and probably one of the best breakfasts in Chile, really great abundance and options. The downfall was the rooms, you’d think they would update them, rooms weren’t 4-5 star definitely 3 and for the price your paying you’d expect them to be top notch.
