We are satisfied with the service and accommodation. neat rooms, regularly cleaned food and drinks of very good quality. the remark at the reception to remove the wasp on the window was not resolved even after two days, one of the minuses.
In one word: unsatisfactory. We stayed at Hotel Breza for a couple of nights, paying around 250 EUR per night for a standard double room with half-board. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations. The reception set the initial tone for our stay — confused. As first-time visitors, we expected at least a brief introduction to the hotel’s amenities and their locations. Instead, we were simply pointed toward our room with no further explanation. Visiting during the off-season, the hotel was still about 60% full, mostly with locals. The pool temperature was disappointingly lukewarm, and at times even cold. The jacuzzis? Very rarely turned on during weekdays. If you’re planning to visit on a Friday or the weekend, be prepared for an entirely different atmosphere — lots of kids and teenagers screaming, jumping, and treating the place like a playground. If you’re looking for a peaceful wellness experience, this is not it. The rooms — heavily outdated. By most standards, this is not a true 4-star hotel, though it may qualify under wellness criteria. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows overly soft and bulky, and the heating/HVAC didn’t work. The bathroom was cramped, and the shower felt even smaller. The half-board experience — disappointing. Breakfast was the one highlight, offering a good variety of options, though the food lacked seasoning. Dinner, however, was a letdown. Meat, whether steak or chicken, was served medium rare — off-putting for many guests. Even worse, the drink machine available at breakfast was locked away at dinner, leaving you with two choices: pay extra or go thirsty. To make matters worse, most dishes were bone-dry — yes, even the medium-rare chicken breast was drier than Jesus’s sandals. Pricing is borderline outrageous. Entrance fees nearly double on Fridays, weekends, and holidays, making an already mediocre experience feel like a complete rip-off. If you’re considering a visit, weekdays are way more bearable price wise, but still far from worth it. For a better experience, I’d recommend Terme Sv. Martin, just 70 km away. It surpasses Hotel Breza in service, food, and overall value — simply the better choice. Honorable mentions: - The staff spoke/understood Croatian as well, so that was a plus. - The guy at the reception answered all our questions, and even helped us get some painkillers. Truly thankful for that.
This resort is suitable for local guests I think it won’t suit international travelers or guests
