Terra Andina Hotel Cusco

Very nice and quiet with a great location. The price was unbeatable for the quality. You would have to pay 3x more to beat this in cuzco.

I was there March 11-13. It is a poorly maintained hotel. My room was changed because on March 12 staff members were having a dispute in my room corridor. The heater was not working and it is cold even in the summer. I asked to speak to the manager and he wasn't in. Asked for the manager several times and was not available. The second room I had had a problem with the toilet, It didn't stop flushing. The front desk came to fix it. Had to call 2 more times. Instead of having a Maintenace staff the front desk was in charge. Unfortunately they know less then I do-it needed a new flipper. Again the manager wouldn't meet with me. Oh, one of the lights didn't work and they wouldn't change the bulb.

We had 2 rooms and they both smelled of sewage so bad we had to keep the doors open while they tried to fix the issue. All they did was put a whole bunch of chemicals down the drain to mask the smell, which made it more toxic. Out eyes started burning and throat got itchy. So bad we ended up in the lobby waiting for them to come up with a solution for hours. This hotel should be torn down a rebuild a new one including management. They had windows open in freezing weather prior to our arrival which shows that they were aware of the issue and still decided to put 2 families, on vacation, through hell. Stay away from this hotel at all cost.
