Terra Blanca Suites

Solid 5 stars, hotel is clean, instagram-worthy, but nothing beats the service i got from Joanna, she is just the best, she let us in early as the room is already available, she managed our transport for the whole 4 days and all worked well, we met the beautiful dog that is super friendly, the room is comfy, the hotel is in the quiet part of the island but still close to the city center. We want to say thank you & appreciation again for Joanna & her team. For sure we will come back :)

Terra Blanca Suites has been the best accomodation I have ever stayed in. From the second we set foot on the property I felt like I was coming home to visit my Greek Aunty. Terra Blanca is a family run hotel and you can tell by how warm and welcoming all the staff are. The property is small enough to be quiet and relaxing but big enough to feel luxurious and have privacy. The location is perfect as it’s far enough from the main street that it’s peaceful and quiet but close enough that you can get in and out of Fira quickly and easily. Joanna went above and beyond to accomodate us and make our stay smooth, including organising an ATV to be delivered to the hotel for us to drive around. The view is beautiful, especially at night. The rooms were clean and luxe, the beds and pillows were by far the comfiest I’ve ever slept on in a hotel, and I’ve done quite a bit of travelling! We didn’t have any issues at all with our stay but I’m sure if we did, Joanna would’ve done her best to resolve it. If I return to Santorini, I will be staying here again. Joanna, if you ever come to Melbourne, I have a spare room waiting for you!

Update: Hotel manager has blocked me after I complained about the room. Horrible customer service from Stefano. Not sure if he owns it, but I messaged him about a problem with our room and his response was rude and sarcastic. They advertise rooms with sea views but not all of them are. This was the problem with ours. Our view was of the next hotel room. Stefano’s response was there is a sea view to the left and to the right, but you had to walk out of your room and around your building to see that view. (I’ve attached a photo). I asked kindly if we could be moved to another room with a view and we didn’t get a response for nearly 2 days (which was the duration of our stay). When I queried Stefano about why the room was advertised as a sea view when it didn’t have one, he said “It is like telling you that the truffle on my cake on the picture was red and you add brown” and I provided photos of what was advertised (which was a sea view) and we did not get that, he said “I am happy that you have so much free time on your hands”. No apology for the disappointment or the fact we had dirty cups in our room. The actual hotel is beautiful and Joanna on the desk was lovely and very accommodating. View by the pool is very nice. That’s the only reason that I’ve given the 2 stars. Stefano’s customer service has completely ruined my experience and I would not stay there again.
