Terre di Himera

We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend at Terre di Himera. Greeted by Fabrizio with a glass of spumante, we had a chance to relax on the patio before a light dinner of grilled meats, fresh salad from the garden, and the most amazing chocolate & pistachio cream puffs. We stayed in a classic room which was perfect. There were chairs and a little garden outside the door. After a splendid breakfast, we spent the day hiking at the nearby Piano Battaglia. The second night we enjoyed a dinner with multiple courses, wonderful sicilain wine, and tiramisu for dessert. Maria is a fabulolous chef, and a friendly, kind, and helpful host. She explained each course, helped us plan some excursions, and packed up a late night meal for my husband who arrived after dinner on outlr first night. Overall, a wonderful experience. Would definitely return to Terre di Himera.

This gem in that beautiful and power mountain. Maria and Fabrizio the owners were the best host ever, the incredible service from the beginning of the day offering a very exquisite breakfast from local producers. Our room perfectly neat, clean, we stay there with our 17 years old daughter. The landscape, every sunrise and sunset out of this world. The quiet atmosphere during every time of the day. If you are looking for a very real disconnection from technology, tv and world distractions, this is your retreat or your space. Himera full of rich culture and history🪷. We recommend this charming place to the world 🌍. And we will be back for sure!! Thank you Maria and Fabrizio again from us.

Terre di Himera is what you imagine when you dream of the most quintessential Sicilian escape. But even more luxurious! Maria and Fabrizio have lovingly restored their farmhouse - with serious attention to detail and design flare sympathetic to the surroundings that lulls you into a relaxed and pampered state. And the food! OMG, these guys know their food - all locally sourced and traditionally made - we loved the breakfasts and traditional Sicilian feast.. we loved learning about each dish and the provenance of the ingredients. But above all it is Maria and Fabrizio who weave the magic of this place.. the little touches.. bringing us breakfast when we slept in, recommending places for us to visit and restaurants to try, allowing us to take our time and unwind.. This really was a Sicilian dream!
