Stayed in the KUSSY chalet. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of linens. Ski in and ski out as chalet was at the top of the magic carpet. Chalet was very clean and comfortable. Hot tub was amazing too. Thank you! We will be back.
We had an amazing time at the chalets! My husband and I stayed the end of September, which is a beautiful time of year to see the Black Hills. The chalets were inviting, super clean and spacious. Fully furnished with everything you could think of. Felt like a home away from home. We had a family of deer that came every evening to visit us. The owner, Rob, was friendly and easy to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
If you’d like to pay thosands of dollars to stay in a run down frat house, then this is the place for you! Holy terror (aka holy nightmare) is filthy, run down, and completely un-stocked of the necessities you need and would expect. The beds are completely broken in, covered in urine stains, and they do not have mattress protectors. The hot tub cover is rotted away and filled with moldy hot tub water/ice. The hot tub area is littered in beer cans. Shower curtains have black mold on them. Couches downstairs are literally falling apart; the pull out bed and side of the couch are literally falling off, stuffing hanging out. Don’t be surprised that the TV in the main room is no longer there, despite online photos and descriptions of the cabin. (Glad we rented this place for Super Bowl weekend) Make sure you bring your own dishwasher soap, dish washing clothes/sponges, wash clothes, trash bags, paper towels, and toilet paper. And extra linens for the run down murphy beds upstairs. And don’t worry, you will feel incredibly secure when you wake up in the middle of the night to snow blowing in on your from poorly sealed windows, knowing that there is duct tape covering the old deadbolt holes on the front door. Enjoy!
