Tewinbury Farm Hotel

Fabulous relaxing Secret Sunday break at the “Lakeside” accommodation. Beautiful location overlooking the lake. Totally private with adjoining hot tub room. Accommodation was modern, spotlessly maintained and provided complimentary stocked mini bar, flip flops, tea and (excellent) coffee making facilities and robes. We even received a 40th wedding anniversary card from the staff, which was a lovely personal touch. Excellent evening meal at the Cowshed restaurant (although 2 mains were unavailable). Lovely breakfast included. All staff were very friendly and professional. We thoroughly recommend this stay and will definitely use again.

A perfect location for a wedding as it has absolutely everything you could need. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a lovely weekend. The only downside of our woodland hut was that you couldn't shut the bathroom door because the flooring was damaged and meant the door stuck leaving it 6 inches open. This didn't provide us with much privacy so we actually made the trip down the hill to the barns toilets several times

The farmhouse and its surroundings are absolutely stunning — such a peaceful and charming setting. Our room was beautifully decorated and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food across breakfast, lunch, and dinner was truly exceptional — especially the Sunday roast, which was one of the best we’ve had! However, we did experience a few issues during our stay. Unfortunately, the shower in our room made extremely loud siren-like noises when in use, which we’re quite sure affected neighbouring guests as well. We reported this to reception, but the issue remained unresolved by the time we returned, which was disappointing. Additionally, the bathroom mat had visible brown stains and wasn’t replaced, which felt a little below the standard we expected given the rate and otherwise high-quality experience. While we appreciated the handyman who came to take a look, we did feel that some aspects of the room maintenance could have been better handled. Overall, we really enjoyed the property and the food, but a few improvements to the facilities would make the experience truly exceptional.
