TH Roma Carpegna Palace

We just came back (US) from 3-country trip (Italy, Switzerland, and France). Our first stop was Rome. We look for hotel that is close to Vatican City and to my sister's workplace. We stayed at TH Roma - Carpegna Palace Hotel for 3 nights and was thoroughly impressed. From check-in to checkout, the service was top-notch. The lady named Tina was very helpful and nice as well as all front desk staffs we met were warm, efficient, and welcoming, making the entire check-in and check-out process quick and pleasant. Kudos to the reception leadership. The high ceiling room was spotless, well-furnished, and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable with fresh linens and nice pillows. The ambiance of the hotel feel luxurious and the surroundings are quiet and very relaxing. It's a gated hotel with long driveway so we felt secure. The security staff were thoughtful and welcoming as well. In all the hotel we stayed in for our whole trip, Carpegna Palace Hotel is one of the best. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure. I'll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip.

The place outside looks great, when reviewing your rooms online looks bigger than you think. I upgraded my room when I first got there the only thing I received was a window that opens to an empty lot. The room is very small and you don't have to draw for your clothes, just a section to hang a few things. I literally was tripping over my suitcases. I left a day early and asked for a refund for leaving early. They never gave me the refund.

Terrible Experience – Do Not Stay Here! I had a very bad experience at this hotel. While we were out of the room, someone stole $100 from my friend’s purse. We are sure it happened during housekeeping, as we left the money in a closed bag and returned to find it missing. This is unacceptable! The hotel took no responsibility, and the staff was not helpful at all. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away!
