Thalassa Naxos

This is really one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in. Amazing location, right on the beach, beautifully decorated rooms, spacious and bright, quiet area. We had a sea view apartment and I couldn't take my eyes of the view. The sea there has a gorgeous turquoise colour and the beach nearby is long, sandy and with very few people. I found that perfect for us :) Fotis and Pavlos were very welcoming and helpful, really nice hosts throughout our stay at their place.

The hotel has an incredible vibe, the owners created a place where it is really possible to switch off and be in the moment. Dinners served there are a heavenly experience.

Our stay was generally good, but we’re not sure it justifies the room prices, especially when comparing it to other options in Agia Anna, Agios Prokopios, and Plaka — some of which seemed better value for money (even though we didn’t stay in them). ✅ Positives: • Beautiful sea view • Clean rooms • Friendly and polite staff 🤔 Neutral: • Room decor and architecture were simple and nothing special • No TV (which may not matter to many) • Small fridge with very limited space ⚠️ Negatives or Things to Know: • Not soundproof • Toilet area is cramped, fitting only a small shower and toilet — no sink or shelf to place toiletries • No basic kitchenware (e.g., no cutlery or utensils) • Nothing else nearby – despite the beach being just 15 meters away, there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so you’ll need a car • Minimal amenities overall None of these issues were dealbreakers, but improving some of them would definitely enhance the overall guest experience.
