We stayed in September, got upgraded the first night 😄 Thanks. Breakfast was great, rooms spacious and clean, great advice on tours. Close to landing strip of planes but even that didn't mar our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
We rate this hotel a "4" because is the extremely friendly staff and customer service. When a problem came to light and no other rooms were available, they contacted a neighbouring hotel and secured a newly renovated room for us. The hotel is located right on the black beach and the swimming pool is very nice. Take note that the island airport is 5 minutes away. While we easily became accustomed to the noise of the airplanes, others maybe more sensitve.
The hotel is located on the volcanic black stone beach. Which is wonderful if you are not a fan of sand. The hotel provides comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The pool is beautiful and you can watch the sea from the poolside. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The resort is located right next to the airport. You will hear the planes landing at the nearby airport. The latest plane is around 11:30 pm and the earliest around 7:30 am. It is possible to get a good night's sleep. During the day, it is fun to watch the planes fly overhead. The breakfast is good.
