Thalassa Sousse Resort & Aquapark

Pool is great. Animation team is good. Room is ok, food you have someting for everyone. In one word for this price is great.

I travel to Tunisia every summer and this was the worst hotel experience in Tunisia ever. I have been to more than 20+ hotels, but this was really a shock. I didn’t think that such a low level was possible for a so called 4 star hotel. The overall service staff in the hotel and the aquapark as well as the security was very nice and service minded, but the reception staff does not know what service is and do not care about the guests, always referring to someone else when there is a complaint. The whole family is really disappointed and did not expect the service to be at such a low level. Management needs to take a look at the people working in the reception, because this is not good enough.. We checked in to a dirty room. Had to complain 5 times before any action was taken, and when they took action they just pretended to clean the room, but in reality they just fixed the surface and the beddings where still dirty with old food from the previous guests of the room….. The overall hygiene of the hotel was the worst I have ever witnessed, it was super nasty to be honest and the food buffet was the same every day. The show and animation is not something to brag about either. Unstructured and not organized at all. The pool and aquapark was the only positives, but despite of that this hotel overall is not a 4 star hotel at all. I will definitely not come back to this hotel. Waste of money. Next summer I’m going to another hotel where they understand what it means to be service minded towards guests.

Never Again – Total Rip-Off Terrible experience overall. Service is poor, rooms are in bad shape – no water today and the AC barely works (in tree rooms!!!) and is leaking. The manager is rude and tries to intimidate guests who complain. Drinks are rarely cold, the food is awful (but mostly it looks at least fresh), and the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all. It all feels like a scam. BUT the entertainment crew is fantastic (props for the show and the kids disco) and the pool area is solid, unfortunately that's about the only good thing I can say. Definitely not worth the money!!
