We spent three magical nights at Thantara Resort Chiang Mai and couldn’t have dreamed of a better stay to unwind and enjoy nature. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the staff made us feel at home. Our Pool Villa with private pool was simply stunning — spacious, beautifully designed, and surrounded by lush greenery. The entire resort feels like an oasis of tranquility, with our very own private pool to relax, the bikes are perfect for exploring the location and all the experiences the resort can offer (spa, cooking class and more). It’s perfect to disconnect from the city’s buzz while still being just a short drive from the heart of Chiang Mai. We could enjoy 2 different types of breakfast, the mini buffet at the restaurant or the floating breakfast served in the room or should I say served in the pool ! Both fresh, made with their home grown fruits and vegetables and local products and a great variety of options. The service was impeccable throughout our stay — always kind and attentive. We stayed here for 10 days and it was just lovely! Everything was perfect. The beds are really comfortable, our villa was spotless clean and beautyful. The AC worked very good. It gets as cold as you want. The view outside is amazing. I also used the fitness room quiet a lot and i was the only person there. The most outstanding was the staff, really caring and proactive and very warm and friendly. They help you with everything and make you feel taken very good care of. They speak very good english too. In 20-30minutes by car you are in the heart of Chiang Mai City, we used to go to the Nimman area every other day, there are lots of nice small restaurants if you feel you need some city vibes.

The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with a small swimming pool. The natural ecology in the park is well maintained, with the sounds of insects and birds everywhere, making it especially suitable for parent-child accommodation and travel. There are not many choices for breakfast, which does not meet expectations
