Thanthip Beach Resort Patong

Fantastic value hotel 5 minute walk to the beach. Only let down was the drain smell in the bathroom and rooms can let in noise from anyone staying up late on their balconies which we unfortunately experienced the first 2 nights. Despite this, highly recommended hotel.

I am giving 1 star only because there are construction works at the hotel that start at 8 AM, they will continue until end of August 2025. There was no information on booking.com about it or any information from the hotel. Other than that the hotel is close to the beach, breakfast is nice, rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable. If not for the construction I would give it 4 stars

We stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. On the first day, we had around 8 family members eating inside the restaurant between 6-7pm. One of the staff came in and turned off the air-conditioning without notifying us while we were still eating. Again, on the third day, we were sitting inside the restaurant planning to have dinner because it was heavily raining. We waited about 15 minutes, but none of the staff came to take our order. Finally, the same staff member from the first day came in and once again turned off the air-conditioning without notifying us, ignored us, and left. We went out and asked him why he turned off the air-conditioning while we were waiting to order. We asked and spoke to him without attacking him, but he tried to attack one of my family members. We quickly left. However, other staff and hotel guards also tried to attack my family members without knowing the full situation.
