Thar Oasis Resort & Camp

It is a place that must be in the itinerary of every traveller. Rooms - we had opted for the camps in the desert, which was beautiful, well maintained, and clean. Service - It was great. The staff were professional. Location - Perfect ambience and location for a camp in the fringes of Thar.

My father stayed here consecutively twice and that too for a long duration & my mother and I joined him after a few days. The food, the hospitality and the rooms are worth every penny. We had such a comfortable stay and it’s extremely peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend this property. Even during off season months they are taking care of maintenance and everything else exceptionally ♥️

My stay at this resort was quite disappointing overall. The rooms had a persistent bad smell, and the water wasn’t clean, which was very off-putting. For the high price they charge, the experience falls short. The door locks didn’t work properly, and there wasn’t even a receptionist on-site – I had to call a cell phone for assistance every time. On top of that, the phone in the room didn’t work, adding to the frustration. The location is completely isolated, with nothing around, and the resort itself is in serious need of maintenance. It felt like they were charging a hefty amount for nothing. The only saving grace was the breakfast and dinner, and the person who served them. While they didn’t have a large menu or a buffet, the food was decent, especially in comparison to the rest of the service and condition of the property. However, even that doesn't justify the high price or the overall poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
