AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! We spent our honeymoon at Thatch Caye, and it was by far the best place we have ever been. Will was so helpful! The entire staff is just amazing. They knee us by name and made the experience so special. HIGHLY recommend adding the honeymoon package! You won't regret it. The Maya airlines made the second flight a breeze, and they also make it easy and fun to be picked up on the boat. All of the excursions are great. I wish I remembered every staff members name to give them all a shout out. This island is small and quiet for the most part. It's just perfect. They don't over-crowd the place with guests so they can take extra good care of you.
This place is truly special, and it’s not just because of the tropical location or top-notch amenities (of course those things help) .. it’s the staff working here who make the experience one-of-a-kind! Manager Luis took the time to repair a broken zipper on my friend’s purse and helped facilitate a private mainland day trip with our guide Rafael and boat driver Haydo who were lifesavers! Jackson, Charles, and Daniel provided incredible service with a smile during meals and at the bar. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded beach experience with a personal touch
My wife and I just got back from 6 days at Thatch Caye. I was beyond impressed the staff including the manager Luis, bartenders/servers Jackson, Shakira, Daniel, Junior, and Anivar. They made you feel special in every single interaction and meal. Always pleasant and happy. The island had two amazing beach dogs, Marley and Pico, that were a very amazing addition to the team. The helped coordinate all travel to and from the island and helped with all excursions. Rafael (Raffy) was an amazing guide on many of our quests. So many things to list as impressive. I was originally turned off by the communal meals but I was so wrong and looked forward to dining with the small groups of people that were also staying there at the time. Honestly, one of the best if not the best vacation of my life. You will not regret enjoying Belizeat Thatch Caye.
