Very pleasant stay at this medium sized hotel. The place is a little tired and warm but has a good, friendly atmosphere. The staff, without exception were hard working and friendly. Food OK. Evening entertainment generally good. Will certainly return.
Stayed here on a coach trip. Room was clean looked quite new. Good location 5 mins walk down to the front then another 5 to the pier etc. Staff overall friendly the main down side was the food dishes not often hot or of poor quality however edible.Also stairway carpet filthy and main entrance tatty.
Room needed decorating, carpet needed cleaning or replacing, bathroom door didn't close without lifting it slightly to put the lock on, bed base was dirty and in two pieces that didn't come together and tilted backward so feet were higher than head,the mattress was too soft. Sheets and bedding clean and plenty of storage for clothes. Food was adequate and hot.
