The Abbott Boutique Hotel

Stayed 10 nights at the Abbott. All of the staff, from management to the lovely housekeeping team, were warm and welcoming at all times. Nothing was too much trouble if I needed assistance, which is always appreciated when travelling alone. The generous provision of quality coffee, biscuits and bottled water in the shared lounge area was also much appreciated. As was the comfortable bed, quality linen/towels, and sparkling clean bathroom. So thanks and best wishes to Antonio and team! 🙏☺️💖

The staff at the hotel was very welcoming and well informed about events and things going on in the area. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We loved that down the hall from us, there was a full kitchen; full refrigerator, some spices, an air fryer, microwave oven, stove, fully stocked kitchen, so we could prepare our own foods when we wanted to because we had a very long stay there. And people actually cleaned up after themselves so it was a very nice kitchen. The hotel is very centrally located near the pier where all the boats leave for snorkeling and ocean adventures and sightseeing. Everything is right there. Restaurants were great. It was a perfect location. We loved our stay there.

The Abbott is in a great location. So close to many great restaurants and things to do in Cairns. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable with efficient air conditioning. There was a fridge in our room and a lovely sitting area for all guests to use that had a great coffee machine and nice biscuits and water bottles. We really enjoyed our four nights there and would definitely recommend.
