More like 4.5 stars. This hotel is quite beautiful. It’s styled like it’s part of a train station. The desk staff is very helpful. The biggest problem with this hotel is the breakfast bar. The service is poor. Nearly every salt & pepper container was empty. The eating dishes, such as bowls, would run out and it would take forever to get some. It’s very near the train station so that would be convenient for people. There isn’t a lot to do in the area but there are a couple of bars and a market. We stayed here as part of a Trafalgar Tour: Britain & Ireland Highlights. We were overall very satisfied with our stay.

Beautiful hotel & bar. Great breakfast with stay! Staff very friendly & helpful. Very nice accommodations. Location a bit out of the way to walk to most attractions in Dublin, but Taxis are easy to get and train station is just across the street. Great bar & staff.

I booked a twin sweet for 2 nights. The hotel is situated conveniently near Connolly DART (train) station, Luas (metro) stops and multiple bus stops. Upon entry I was kindly welcomed into a beautiful lobby and given my key cards. The 2 elevators are abit slow and the key cards do take about 5 attempts before syncing with the elevator. The room had a large window coving the full wall, with a nice sized balcony. Unfortunately, we found a sock blatantly in the room upon entry, which I went down and reported to reception, and they were very apologetic. I had to walk down to tell them as i was not handed an information sheet regarding room service and other service numbers for the phone. The TV was quite outdated and it would have been nice to have a smart TV. Im used to fridges in hotels having complimentary drinking water in them, however there was non. The gym is small (as expected) but decent. Access to the sauna is €25 pp per day, this was a put off as I am a strong believer that if staying at a hotel you should have access to all amenities. Buffet Irish breakfast is an additional €16 pp per day. Overall, I had a decent visit and the price was reasonable for the location and facilities. Nevertheless, if I was to visit again I will probably look elsewhere.
