The Address Cork

We stayed at The Address Cork and were blown away by the absolutely stunning views. It’s perched perfectly to overlook the city, but only about a 10 minute walk to city center. The hotel itself was beautiful, with a cozy yet elegant vibe. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and everything about our stay felt relaxed and special. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with unbeatable scenery!

Had a short overnight for work, Reception was friendly and I was checked into a large double room, really nice, clean and spacious. Food finishes early and there isn't much going on in the hotel, atmosphere is flat which I didn't mind for a work night but bar staff could be more friendly. Didn't avail of breakfast seen the buffet selection and wasn't appealing.

This hotel was a classic example of, looks beautiful on the outside, but completely failed to live up to expectations on the inside. The biggest flaw being that the rooms were unbearably hot and there was no ceiling fan or even free-standing fan made available. Even with windows open neither my husband or I were able to sleep more than 30-45 minutes throughout the evening. Front desk provided zero help or solution other than telling us we should’ve asked for a fan, which is pretty unacceptable that the hotel would not be aware of its poorly ventilated rooms prior to guests checking in. Shower also did not work when we showered in the morning as the pressure was very low and then woke stop altogether after a few seconds. Location in terms of proximity to the attractions of Cork was great, but overall would advise staying away from this place!
