I had the pleasure of staying at The Adolphus, Autograph Collection in 2022 for a wedding weekend with a friend, as both of us were traveling to be part of a wedding party, and this hotel was a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the city after the wedding events. We stayed in a deluxe 2-king room, which was spacious and comfortable. What really stood out was the bathroom as it was huge, definitely one of the highlights of our stay. After more modest accommodations during the wedding itself, this felt like a welcome return to city comforts. The location couldn’t have been better. We loved how walkable the area was, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. Valet parking was convenient and smooth, and the overall check-in and check-out process was easy and efficient. We did not experience the food at this hotel, but again, there are so many options nearby. All of the staff we interacted with were incredibly kind and professional. As two women of color, we genuinely appreciated how comfortable and welcomed we felt throughout our stay—something that isn’t always a given, especially when traveling in more rural areas (where the wedding had taken place, hours away from Dallas). Overall, The Adolphus was a lovely balance of charm, comfort, and city convenience. I’d be more than happy to return as a guest in the future.
Beautiful hotel with history. We loved the renovations since our prior visit 20 plus years ago. The old French Room restaurant was still popular and multiple bars to choose from. The pool water was chilled, which made it so nice in the Dallas heat. Rooms were spacious with great views of downtown. Glad we came back for a visit.
Beautiful hotel with rich history and a stunning lobby/lounge area. Princess at the front desk was outstanding—friendly, helpful, and genuinely thoughtful. The City Hall Bistro was also excellent. My room was spacious and beautifully decorated, complete with branded touches like an embroidered bathrobe. I was staying during a large conference that I wasn’t part of, but the hotel still made sure all guests were well taken care of. My only minor critique is the toiletries. While I don’t mind the wall-mounted dispensers, the products themselves didn’t quite match the luxurious feel of the rest of the experience.
