The AGATE Pattaya Boutique Resort

Undoubtedly the best in jomtien. Clean rooms, new linen and towels and big rooms. Love the sitting bench in the shower. Location is right smack in jomtien complex but away from the noise and 5 mins walk to the beach. I have stayed here a few times and everytime i am impressed by the service. Courteous, helpful, remembers the guest whilst respecting privacy. I really cannot fault this hotel.

This hotel is situated in the LGBT area where you can find pubs and massage centres. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The property is well maintained except the room air conditioning which is too old to control. They do provide a simple breakfast spread.

The hotel is in a good location and has beautiful gardens and pools, but the following things made for a very bad experience: 1. Very bad and rude attitude of the staff 2. Very poor and expensive breakfast, not worth the cost 3. Upon arrival, the bed linen and toilet were very dirty. 4. A four-star hotel does not have an iron. 5. The noise from the toilet fan was unacceptable. 6. Most of the staff cannot speak English. 7. The hotel is old and its furnishings are outdated.
