A Fantastic Stay with Excellent Service and Food I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure everything was just right. The bedrooms were clean, well-appointed, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable—perfect for a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the Sunday carvery, which was excellent. The selection of meats—beef, turkey, and gammon—was cooked to perfection. The beef, in particular, was beautifully tender and full of flavor, making it an absolute delight. Breakfast was also a treat, offering a variety of options to start the day right. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely stay again!
I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday Carvery at The Angel Hotel. The atmosphere was relaxed and made it perfect for a Sunday afternoon. The star of the show was the meats, tender roast beef and succulent turkey. The portions are generous and the roast potatoes were to die for! The service was warm and we were looked after throughout. Considering the cost of going out these days the carvery was an excellent price of £18. Finished off the meal with sticky toffee pudding which was delicious
Very nice location. Staff were friendly enough. Room was nice, expect for a bit of a damp smell in the bathroom. Other than that pretty good and comfy.
