The Ann Hanoi Hotel & Spa

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptional—especially Mr. Huy and Ms. Huong at reception, who were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us with restaurant recommendations and taxi bookings. Everyone we encountered was professional and welcoming. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the Old Quarter, which we found ideal—it’s close enough to explore easily, yet far enough to enjoy a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The facilities were excellent, including the gym, comfortable rooms, rooftop bar, and spa. I tried the herbal massage and really enjoyed it—it was a lovely touch to an already great stay.

We were very happy with this hotel. Lovely big well maintained rooms. Decent breakfast. Lovely rooftop bar and pool area. Re the reviewer who complained about the sauna, it only took 2-3 minutes to heat up for me.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were greeted by a grumpy, middle aged concierge. When he brought our bags to our room, we didn’t tip him because of his attitude. He seemed upset and ignored us for the rest of our time there even though we tried to say hello. The rooms are spacious. The lights are difficult to work out and don’t make sense based on their location to the lights themselves. The bed is hard. The pillows are soft. I like it the other way around. The shower was blocked so the water leaked all over the floor.
