We had a truly wonderful stay at The Artini Dijiwa Ubud. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located; a peaceful oasis just a short walk from the heart of Ubud. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was participating in a traditional Balinese offering-making activity. We were guided step by step with such care, and had the opportunity to bring our offering to a temple, accompanied by a staff member who explained everything and helped us follow the local traditions respectfully. It was a unique and heartfelt experience we will never forget. We also treated ourselves to a 1-hour massage at the spa, which was incredibly relaxing and ended with a delicious tea; the perfect touch of calm and care. The restaurant is also excellent, offering high-quality dishes throughout the day and serving a delicious breakfast each morning. One morning, we had an early excursion and had to leave at 4 a.m., and the staff kindly prepared breakfast boxes for us to take with us; a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene and authentic Balinese getaway!
Our stay at The Artini Dijiwa Ubud was absolutely incredible! The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet just minutes away from the heart of Ubud. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive — always welcoming us with a smile and making sure everything was perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We loved the stunning pool and the delicious breakfast served each morning. One of the highlights of our stay was the Balinese massage, which was deeply relaxing and professionally done — a true moment of bliss. We also got the chance to participate in a traditional offering-making activity, and it was such a meaningful and authentic experience. We really appreciated learning more about Balinese culture in such a warm and respectful setting. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so special — we’ll definitely come back!
The Artini Dijiwa was in a great location - easy to walk/Grab to the major tourist sites in the area, and had excellent service with the front desk. The onsite restaurant isn't phenomenal, but it did the job when we were in a rush. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance if you're wanting to explore. We only had two main issues: 1. The shower water pressure in the room was exceptionally poor during busy times. Depending on time of day, we would have literally no water pressure (as in not even a drip). Other times it would be a trickle. When we got lucky it would be as normal (and with normal temperature), but unfortunately you have to intentionally try to shower at off hours to get that. 2. We often had ants in our room. They were small ants, and didn't bite, and we never had whole swarms, but they were definitely exploring. The front desk was apologetic, though it didn't seem like anything they intend to or could fix. We aren't sure how widespread these issues are, or if they're as severe as water fully stopping during a shower elsewhere. But since it seems like it potentially could be a common issue in Ubud, we didn't think it was fair to overly penalize them for that in the review. We just want to give others a heads up that this is what we experienced at this one hotel.
