The Artisan D.C. Hotel Autograph Collection

The hotel is located at a very nice location, walkable and we felt very safe. Staff were friendly and very welcoming which made our stay more enjoyable. Thank you Mercedes for your service, always looked forward to my morning coffee and your wonderful hospitality. Steven and Julian both were very nice and attentive, thank you guys. Front desk and doorman were very nice as well. Room was always clean as well as the entire hotel. Gym is quiet small but witch a nice view.

I have stayed at this hotel twice while visiting Bogotá. The property is beautiful, the service is attentive, and the locations are excellent. However, both stays had some issues. During my first visit, I found a previous guest’s underwear left in the room, which was quite unpleasant. On my second visit, the water was shut off for about five hours in the evening. While I appreciate many aspects of the hotel, these repeated issues make me hesitant to stay here again.

There was an issue with the dates for our reservation, we called for three days trying to get assistance and were told that our reservation was through Expedia (it was not) so there's nothing they can do, as if Expedia owns and operates this hotel's proprietary reservation systems (what a cop-out). We were then told a reservation manager is working on it and would call us back. Three days later on the day of our check in, we call yet again to make sure everything is ok and were told there is no reservation manager on duty due to a holiday and that they are marking us as a no-show and keeping our money. What a low-down, conniving, disgusting way to run a business. Will never stay at this thieving hotel or any other Marriott property ever again.
