The Ashok

It's simply put the oldest and grandest . But maintainable needs a lot. During check out i witnessed a brawl coming from the disco theque at 9.00 am. 😆 I mean saw for the first time a discorunning in the morning. Campus is sprawling even bigger than The Claridges which itself has got a big campus. The hotel has many halls and empty shops telling its glory days . Breakfast could be better. Gives you Sarkaari vibes. Oudh could not match Bukhara or the Audhiana . Any way other than these fine aspects stay should be good .

Today we got expired milk powder..expired 2 years back.. no one can expect such ignorance from such big standard hotel. I am uploading the picture for your reference.. room no 504.. and the date is 17th July 2025.. rest all is good at ashoka but having expired food is not something can be accepted

Disappointing Experience at The Ashok I checked into The Ashok last Sunday expecting a 5-star experience even though it is rated low on MMT, but it was far from that. Despite booking a king bed, I was given a queen. The room was rundown, musty, the bathroom was unclean, and the TV didn’t work. The corridor carpets also had a strong, unpleasant smell. Though the lobby manager offered an upgraded room, I chose to check out immediately and shared my feedback. The lobby may look grand, but the rooms are poorly maintained and don’t reflect 5-star standards. I hope the management takes guest concerns seriously and improves the overall quality.
